How fast can you draw a firearm? How about under one second?
A one-second draw is impressive to watch, and we had the pleasure of watching a world champion shooter demonstrate his skills while integrating invaluable safety tips during this year’s Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor TradeshowSM and Conference (The SHOT Show®) in Las Vegas.
Providing Value that Counts
Owners of the SHOT Show, the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), provide ongoing value to their members and the industry – and their membership base is growing! How do they do it? They emphasize their major programs like Project Childsafe, NSSF First Shots® and Families Afield® that all promote safety and support industry growth. Whether it’s their State of the Industry Dinner, informational kiosks, or onsite and airport advertising, during the SHOT Show, the NSSF takes full advantage of the four days spent with a captive audience of attendees, exhibitors and worldwide press to feature these programs.
Creating New Revenue Streams
In addition, with the SHOT Show’s continually sold out exhibit floor, the show searched out new ways to enhance exhibitor exposure and grow revenue streams. By updating its sponsorship offerings, adding in new digital advertising and improving the New Product Center, exhibitors had plenty of opportunity to increase their impressions among the thousands of attendees.
The Result
With 64,000 attendees, 10 football fields of exhibits, booths designed like small hunting lodges or retail stores, industry stars and quite a few celebrities walking the floor, the SHOT Show is a very energetic and exciting event that delivers on its promise to be just TOO GOOD TO MISS.
The 2015 SHOT Show was the second largest event ever for the organization, and we look forward to next year’s show.
