Situation
CSG worked with the NAB Show team for more than five years before the pandemic (2014-2019). Each year, we were determined to deliver compelling campaigns to a broad audience of both creative and technical professionals. The campaign targeted over 15 vertical segments mandating flexible and modular creative that needed to work across multiple channels. The robust digital and media campaigns were integral to our success, and the creative was easy to keep fresh and highlight the core value propositions for the show.
Solution
An event theme with the ultimate positioning statement, “Every Story Starts Here,” which resonated across a broad spectrum of audiences. A multi-channel integrated marketing campaign inclusive of interactive digital experiences engaged storytellers around the world while the industry as whole was experiencing technology and distribution disruption across the media and entertainment ecosystem.
Outcome
The award-winning campaign attracted over 92,000 attendees in 2019, the last year of our partnership, despite mounting pressure from competing events and democratized content creation models. In 2025, the event hosted about 55,000 attendees.
